Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "ADD SOME TEXTURE". As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Katzelkraft. I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Sizzix Cracked 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder on the background, and decorated it with Katzelkraft LES HUMANOIDS Red Rubber Unmounted Stamp and Tim Holtz Idea-ology STITCHED SCRAPS 2 Embellishments.
To start this project and create the texture on the background, I trimmed the watercolor paper into size 8 tag, embossed it with Tim Holtz Sizzix Cracked 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder and Big Shot machine, and colored it with Distress Ink Pads and Art Daubers. On a piece of watercolor paper, I stamped the image using Katzelkraft LES HUMANOIDS Red Rubber Unmounted Stamp and the black ink pad, and colored it with Zig Watercolor Brushes. The image was torn and pasted on the tag using Tombow Mono Glue.
I attached some scraps and metal embellishments from Tim Holtz Idea-ology STITCHED SCRAPS 2 Embellishments, and Tim Holtz Idea-ology MACHINERY HEADS and Tim Holtz Idea-ology ODDS AND ENDS Embellishments. To finish off this project, I added a sentiment using Tim Holtz Idea-ology SNARKY Small Talk Stickers.
