Mixed Media Christmas Holiday Tag


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "CHRISTMAS". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using the stamped from Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps HOLIDAY SCENES on the background, colored it with Prima Marketing WATERCOLOR CONFETTI SET Art Philosophy, and decorated it with Studio Katia CHUNKY SPARKLE Glitter. 


I started this project with trimming the size 8 tag with watercolor paper. I stamped the holiday image and sentiment using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps HOLIDAY SCENES and the black ink pad. The image and tag were colored with Prima Marketing WATERCOLOR CONFETTI SET Art Philosophy. 


I distressed the edges of the tag with a blending tool and Distress Ink Pad, and outlined the tag with a black pen. To finish off this Christmas tag, I randomly applied the Tombow Glue and added the some glitters on this holiday scene on the tag. Mixed Media Mini Easel Home Decor



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "HOME DECOR". I was inspired to create three mini mixed media easels using Stamperia KLIMT 6x6 Paper on the background, and decorated them with Tim Holtz Idea-ology ENGRAVING LAYERS and Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS.


To start this project, I trimmed the patterned paper from Stamperia KLIMT 6x6 Paper and pasted it on these mini easels. The easels were distressed with Distress Ink Pad and a blending tool, outlined with a black pen. 

The die cut embellishments were colored with the watercolors and adhered on the easels with double sided tabs. I added Tim Holtz Idea-ology EPHEMERA SNIPPETS NUMBER STRIPS and metal embellishments to finish off these cute mixed media mini easels.

Mixed Media Spooky Halloween Tag



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "HALLOWEEN/ SPOOKY". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Distress HALLOWEEN MICA STAIN SET 3 Ranger on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps MONSTROUS and Tim Holtz Idea-ology CURIOSITIES Sticker Book.

I started this project with applying Tim Holtz Distress HALLOWEEN MICA STAIN SET 3 Ranger on the background of the size 8 tag. I distressed the tag using the black ink pad and blending tools, then outlined the tag using a black pen. The Halloween embellishments from Tim Holtz Idea-ology CURIOSITIES Sticker Book and Tim Holtz Idea-ology HALLOWEEN Ephemera, and the window frame were layered and attached on the tag. 


On a piece of watercolor paper, I stamped the Halloween skull image using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps MONSTROUS and the black ink pad, then watercolored it with Zig Clean Color 30 COLOR SET A 
Real Brush. The image was cut and adhered on the tag using double sided tapes. I added some metal embellishments to finish off this spooky Halloween tag. Hope you like it and get a chance to join us this week. Happy crafting!

Mixed Media Halloween Tag Fabulous Fall Moodboard



Hey, my dear crafty friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "FABULOUS FALL MOOD BOARD"and the lovely Zoey has made this gorgeous mood board for us to use. I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Sizzix LUMBER 3D Embossing Folder on the background and decorated it with Tim Holtz Sizzix FALL FOLIAGE Thinlits Die and Tim Holtz Idea-ology CURIOSITIES Sticker Book.


I started this project with cutting the size 8 tag using the heavy black cardstock and embossing the tag with  Tim Holtz Sizzix LUMBER 3D Embossing Folder. On a piece of watercolor paper, I die cut the autumn leaves using Tim Holtz Sizzix FALL FOLIAGE Thinlits Die and colored these leaves with watercolors. 


I layered the Tim Holtz Baseboard Window Frame and the Halloween Paper Doll, and arranged the colored leaves around the frame. Some sentiment stickers were added from Tim Holtz Idea-ology CURIOSITIES Sticker Book. I attached more spooky elements from the same sticker book and some metal embellishments to finish off this FABULOUS FALL MOOD BOARD. Hope you like it and get a chance to join us. Happy Crafting!

Mixed Media Tag Halloween Tag Stitch It





Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "STITCH IT". As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from AALL & CREATE. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used. This week we are welcoming the lovely Lori E Kennedy aka cr8tive_lori on instagram, into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!


I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using AALL & Create BASIC VEGGIES A4 Clear Stamp Set on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology CURIOSITIES Sticker Book and Tim Holtz Idea-ology HALLOWEEN Ephemera. To start this project, I stamped the pumpkin image on the size 8 tag that I cut with the watercolor paper. The background of the tag was colored with watercolors, and distressed with blending tools and Distress Ink Pad. I added the stitches around the edges of the tag using a sawing machine. 

On a piece of watercolor paper, I stamped, colored and cut the same pumpkin image, then pasted it on the tag using Tombow Mono Glue. 


The tag was added many sentiments using Tim Holtz Idea-ology CURIOSITIES Sticker Book. I attached some more Halloween embellishments on the tag with Tim Holtz Idea-ology HALLOWEEN Ephemera to finish off this stitched Halloween tag.
