Mixed Media Tag Add a Quote Magical

Hey, my lovely blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "ADD A QUOTE". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Cosmos Paper on the background and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Theories Quote Chips and Tim Holtz Gadget Gears Findings.

I started this project by trimming the corrugated cardboard and the patterned paper from Stamperia Cosmos collection and pasted them on this size 8 tag. The background of the tag was distressed with a blending tool and Distress Ink Pads. I also outlined the edges of the tag using a black brush pen. Some metallic acrylic and water mixture was splattered and dropped on the tag.  

The wolf image and the small tag was cut from the same paper collection, distressed and pasted on the tag using double sided tapes. I added some gear embellishments with Tombow Mono Glue. The quote chip was colored with a Distress Ink Pad and a blending tool. I also added a sentiment using Tim Holtz Metallic Sticker. 

I really love the sentiment "Keep Room in Your Heart for the Unimaginable". Hope you like my project and create something with a quote on it. Can't wait to see what you make. Happy crafting!

Mixed Media Mothers Day Card Bright Cheerful Colors

Hello, my dear friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "BRIGHT, CHEERFUL COLORS". I was inspired to create a Mother's Day card using the bright and cheerful colors. 

To start this project, I spraying Ranger Dylusions Shimmer Spray over Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Doodle Art 1 on the background of the card. The Happy Mother's Day sentiment was die cut using Simon Says Stamp Mother's Day Flower Wafer Die and Big Shot. I also die cut the crochet embellishments and adhered it on the card. The final step was added Prima Marketing Sewn With Love My Sweet Flowers and the butterfly.
