Mixed Media Tag Fly Up in the Air





Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "IT'S UP IN THE AIR". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia COSMOS 8x8 Paper and Tim Holtz Idea-ology TRANSPARENT THINGS on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology BASEBOARDS WINDOW FRAMES and Idea-ology PAPER DOLLS MINI.


To start this project, I trimmed the patterned paper from Stamperia COSMOS 8x8 Paper and pasted it on the size 8 tag. The background of the tag was distressed with Distress Ink Pad and outlined with a black pen. I distressed the frame from Tim Holtz Idea-ology BASEBOARDS WINDOW FRAMES and pasted it on the tag with the moon and night sky background from Tim Holtz Idea-ology TRANSPARENT THINGS. The mini paper doll was layered and adhered on the frame with double sided tapes. 


The butterfly from Tim Holtz Idea-ology TRANSPARENT THINGS and key from Idea-ology WORD KEYS were embellished on the frame with Tombow Mono Glue. I pasted some sentiments with Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS and Idea-ology SMALL TALK Stickers to finish off this IT'S UP IN THE AIR project.

Mixed Media Tag Not a Card



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "NOT A CARD". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Oriental Garden 12 X 12 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology PAPER DOLLS MINI and Stamperia ATELIER DES ARTS Die Cuts.


I started this project with trimming the patterned paper from Stamperia Oriental Garden 12 X 12 Paper and pasted it on the size 8 tag. The edges of tag were distressed with Distress Ink Pad and an art dauber. I also outlined the tag using a black pen. 


The die cut embellishments were all distressed with Distress Ink Pad and art daubers, and outlined with a black pen. I arranged and layered them then adhered them on the tag using double sided tapes. As the final step, I added the sentiments using Tim Holtz Idea-ology SMALL TALK Stickers and Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS.

Mixed Media Tag Texture Be Brave



Hello, my dear talented crafty friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "ADD TEXTURE". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Sizzix LUMBER 3D Embossing Folder for the texture on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology PAPER DOLLS MINI and Tim Holtz Idea-ology BASEBOARDS WINDOW FRAMES.


I started this project with making the texture on this size 8 tag on the background using Tim Holtz Sizzix LUMBER 3D Embossing Folder and Big Shot. The background was colored with Distress Ink Pad and Art Daubers. I outlined the tag using a black pen. 


The window frames and mini dolls were layered and attached on the tag with Tombow Mono Glue. I adhered some die cut embellishments. The sentiments were added using Tim Holtz Idea-ology WORD PLAQUES and Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS to finish off this project.

Mixed Media Tag Alcohol Beer



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "Alcohol - drinks and/or inks". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Oriental Garden 12 X 12 Paper on the background and decorated it with Stamperia ATELIER DES ARTS Die Cuts and Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps BEER BLUEPRINT.


To start this project, I trimmed the patterned paper from Stamperia Oriental Garden 12 X 12 Paper and pasted it on the size 8 tag. The background of the tag was distressed with Distress Ink Pad and outlined with a black pen. I also distressed the die cut embellishments from Stamperia ATELIER DES ARTS Die Cuts and outlined them with the black pen. These embellishments were layered and adhered on the tag using Glue Dot and double sided tapes. 


On a piece of paper from Stamperia Oriental Garden 12 X 12 Paper I stamped the beer bottle using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps BEER BLUEPRINT, cut and pasted it on the tag with double sided tapes. I randomly added text print using Tim Holtz Idea-ology REMNANT RUBS LABELED. To finish off this project, I pasted a sentiment with Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS.

Mixed Media Masculine

Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "Masculine". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Idea-ology PAPER DOLLS MINI on the background and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology WORD KEYS and Tim Holtz Idea-ology WORD PLAQUES.

It's the first Monday of the month so we are showcasing a brand: Tim Holtz. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used. Our guest designer this week we is the lovely Ann Chuang aka Ann Chuang Crafts. Please visit her blog for a real treat!

I started this project with trimming the corrugated cardboard into a size 8 tag. I tore and distressed the tag with a blending tool and Distress Ink Pad. I adhered the window frame and paper doll embellishments on the tag using Tombow Mono Glue and double sided foam tapes.

The metal embellishments were colored with Distress Paint and attached on the tag with Tombow Glue. There are some sentiments were added using Tim Holtz Idea-ology WORD PLAQUES and Tim Holtz Idea-ology REMNANT RUBS LABELED. I randomly added some Tim Holtz Idea-ology REMNANT RUBS LABELED on the tag to finish off this project.
