Freezing Cold Mood Board Christmas Holiday Card



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "FREEZING COLD MOOD BOARD". Zoey has designed this gorgeous winter mood board for us to use. I was inspired to create a holiday card using Paper Rose WINTER STROLL 12x12 Paper Pad on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology CHRISTMAS Sticker Book and Prima Marketing MISTLETOE LOVE Candy Cane Lane Flowers.
I started this project with trimming the card stock as the card base, then layered and pasted the card stock with different color. I trimmed the patterned paper from Paper Rose WINTER STROLL 12x12 Paper Pad and Paper Rose CHRISTMAS FUN ROSE GOLD FOIL, layered and pasted it on the background of the card. 


Prima Marketing MISTLETOE LOVE Candy Cane Lane Flowers were adhered on the card using glue dots. I added sentiment stickers from Tim Holtz Idea-ology CHRISTMAS Sticker Book to finish off this Freezing Cold Mood Board holiday card. Hope you like my project and join us this week. Happy crafting!

Holiday Christmas Card Fun with Foil


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "FUN with FOIL". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Paper Rose CHRISTMAS FUN ROSE GOLD FOIL on the background and decorated it with Prima Marketing RUDOLPH'S NOSE Candy Cane Lane Flowers and Prima Marketing MISTLETOE LOVE Candy Cane Lane Flowers.


I started this project with trimming the red card stock as the card base, then layered and pasted the green card stock. I trimmed the patterned paper from Paper Rose CHRISTMAS FUN ROSE GOLD FOIL and pasted it on the background of the card. The sentiment from the same Paper Rose collection was cut and pasted on the card with double sided tapes. 


The Christmas flowers from Prima Marketing RUDOLPH'S NOSE Candy Cane Lane Flowers and Prima Marketing MISTLETOE LOVE Candy Cane Lane Flowers were adhered on the card using glue dots. I added sentiment stickers from Tim Holtz Idea-ology CHRISTMAS Sticker Book to finish off this Fun with Foil holiday card. Hope you like my project and join us this week. Happy crafting!

Mixed Media Tag Thank You


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "THANKS/ THANKSGIVING". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps BITTY GRUNGE on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps SIMPLE SAYINGS and Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps FRESHLY BREWED BLUEPRINT.


I stated this project with trimming the watercolor paper and pasted it on the size 8 tag, then stamping the background using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps BITTY GRUNGE. On another piece of watercolor paper, I stamped the mug image with Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps FRESHLY BREWED BLUEPRINT and the sentiment with Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps SIMPLE SAYINGS. I colored all these stamped images with Prima Marketing WATERCOLOR CONFETTI SET Art Philosophy and 


The watercolored mug image and sentiment were cut and adhered on the tag with the doubled sided tape. I added some Tim Holtz label stickers and metal embellishments to finish this THANK YOU tag. Hope you like my project for this week's challenge and get a chance to join us. Happy crafting!

Christmas Holiday Art Journal Dyan Revealey




Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "ART JOURNAL". As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Dyan Reaveley. . We are welcoming the lovely Joanne Travis aka Sleepy In Seattle into this week's Designer Spotlight. Please visit her blog for a real treat!


I was inspired to create a holiday art journal page using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps MODERN CHRISTMAS stamps, and colored it with Dyan Reaveley BRUSH SET Dylusions Ranger and Dyan REAVELEY Ranger Dylusions Ink Spray. To start this project, I stamped the Christmas related images using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps MODERN CHRISTMAS and the black ink pad. The images and the whole art journal page were colored with Dyan Reaveley BRUSH SET Dylusions Ranger and DYAN REAVELEY Ranger Dylusions Ink Spray. 


I distressed the art journal page using a blending tool and Distress Ink Pad, then outlined the art journal page using a black pen. I added the text prints using Tim Holtz Idea-ology CHRISTMAS Remnant Rubs Tiny Text around these images. Some holidays stickers were adhered on the page. To finish off this Christmas art journal page, I randomly splattered some white Gesso and water mixture to create the snowflake effect. Hope you like my art journal for this week.
