Mixed Media Feminine Tag

Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "FEMININE". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Roseland 8x8 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology PAPER DOLLS PORTRAITS and Prima Marketing RUSTY METAL CLIPS Art Daily Planner.

To start the I started this project with trimming the patterned paper and pasted it on the size 8 tag. I distressed the tag with a distress tool and outlined the tag with a black pen. The big paper doll was adhered on the tag using the double sided tape. 

I arranged the paper flowers around the portrait and added the sentiments with the stickers and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Quote Chip Labels. I attached some Tim Holtz metal embellishments and splattered some Distress Paint and water mixture randomly on the tag to finish off this feminine tag.

Mixed Media Tag Love Bird Up in the Air

Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "IT'S UP IN THE AIR". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia ALCHEMY 12x12 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Sizzix Vault Lovebirds Thinlits Dies and Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS.

To start this project, I trimmed the pattern paper from Stamperia ALCHEMY 12x12 Paper and pasted it on the #8 tag. I distressed the tag with the distress tool, and the art daubers and Distress Ink Pads. 

I die cut the tree branches, birds and hearts using Stamperia ALCHEMY 12x12 Paper and Big Shot, and distressed them with a distress tool, art daubers and Distress Ink Pads. These die cut embellishments were attached on the tag using the foam tapes. To finish off this project, I added the sentiments with Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS and Tim Holtz Idea-ology METALLIC Sticker Book.

Mixed Media Tag Make Your Own Tag

Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "MAKE YOUR OWN BACKGROUND". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Distress Spray Stains Set and Tim Holtz MINI STENCIL SET 3 on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS and Tim Holtz Idea-ology PAPER DOLLS MINI.

I started this project with trimming the watercolor paper and pasted it on the #8 tag. I sprayed Tim Holtz Distress Spray with various colors on the background of the tag, and stenciled with Tim Holtz MINI STENCIL set 3. I then stamped the background of the tag with a text print stamp from Prima and a black ink pad. The tag was distressed with a Distress Paint and outlined with a black pen.

I attahed some paper dolls and Tim Holtz metal embellishments on the tag. some sentiments were added with Tim Holtz Tim Holtz Idea-ology Quote Chip Labels, Tim Holtz Idea-ology CLIPPINGS Sticker Book and Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS.

Mixed Media Tag Spring Flowers

Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "SPRING FLOWERS". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using   Tim Holtz Sizzix WILDFLOWER STEMS 1 Thinlits Die and Tim Holtz Sizzix FUNKY NATURE ThinlitsDies to create the spring flowers and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology Quote Chip Labels.

I started this project with trimming the watercolor paper and pasted it on the #8 tag. I colored the background of the tag with watercolors and outlined the tag with a black pen. 

The flowers were die cut using card stock with various colors and Big Shot Machine. I arranged flowers and pasted them on the tag using foam tapes. The Tim Holtz meal embellishments were attached on the tag. I added some sentiments with Tim Holtz Idea-ology Quote Chip Labels and Tim Holtz Idea-ology METALLIC Sticker Book to finish off this SPRING FLOWERS project.

Tag Whatever The Weather

Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "WHATEVER THE WEATHER". For the first Monday of April, we are showcasing Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Products. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but we would love to see them used if you have them. Our guest designer in the Designer Spotlight this month is Estelle aka atouscrap. Please visit her blog for all the fantastic inspiration and projects!

I was inspired to create a tag using Simon Says Clear Stamps Howdy Dear Friend  and the black ink pad to stamp the image on the watercolor paper. I trimmed the watercolor paper and pasted it on the #8 tag. I used a black marker to outline the tag. 

The tag was colored with Zig Clean Color 30 COLOR SET A Real Brush. I finished off this tag with adding a sentiment sticker using Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS. I really enjoyed creating project with the blue sky and bright sunshine. Hope you like the good weather on my project, too. :)
