Mixed Media Tag Add a Photo

Hello, welcome back to the new challenge, my friends! This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "ADD a PHOTO". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using the vintage portrait from Tim Holtz Found Relatives and decorated it with Idea-Ology Lace Baseboard Frame and Tim Holtz Keepsakes Ephemera. 

To start this project, I trimmed the patterned paper from Tim Holtz Memoranda Paper Collection and pasted it on the size 8 tag. The edges of the tag were distressed with a distress tool, and a blender with Distress Ink Pads. I also outlined the tag using a black brush pen. 

The lace frame was also distressed using the blender and Distress Ink Pad, then layered with vintage photo and adhered on the tag. I decorated the frame with the flower embellishment and added the sentiment using a Tim Holtz Quote Chip. Some metal embellishments and ephemera paper were also added on the tag.

Mixed Media Tag Steampunk Halloween

Hi, my talented crafty friends, welcome back to my blog! Hope you all had a good weekend and are ready for the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge This week we are inviting you to get into your grungy gear and "STEAMPUNK". 

I was inspired to create a mixed media Halloween tag using Stamperia Sea World Paper on the background and decorated it with Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Monstrous and Prima Marketing Rusty Knobs Finnabair Mechanical. To start this project, I trimmed the patterned paper from the Satmaperia Sea World collection and pasted it on the size 8 tag. The tag was distressed with Distress Ink Pad and a blender. I outlined the tag using a black brush pen. 

I stamped the Frankenstein image on watercolor paper and colored it with watercolors. This image was cut and pasted with the film strip ribbon on the tag.  

I pasted some rusty hardwares from Prima Marketing and some Halloween sentiments from Tim Holtz Halloween Chips on the tag using Tombow Mono Glue. Some more sentiments were added on the tag from Tim Holtz Halloween Sticker Book.
