Mixed Media Tag Recycle Adventure



Hi, my talented crafty friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "Recycle". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Distress Paint Mowed Lawn Ranger to color the recycled corrugated cardboard on the background, and decorated it with Stamperia Savana A5 Colored Wooden Shapes and Stamperia Savana Die Cuts. 


I started this project with cutting the corrugated cardboard into a size 8 tag, then colored and distressed the tag with Distress Paints. 


The Stamperia Savana A5 Colored Wooden Shapes and Stamperia Savana Die Cuts was distressed with Distress Ink Pad and a blending tool, and outlined with a black pen. I arranged and layered these die cut embellishments with Tombow Mono Glue and double sided tapes. The ADVENTURE sentiment dit cut was attached to finish off this recycled tag.

Mixed Media Tag Bright and Cheerful


Hi, dear talented crafty friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "Bright and Cheerful". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using       Stamperia Oriental Gard 12 X 12 Paper on the background and decorated it with Stamperia Alchemy Sun and Moon Grayboard and Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Theories Quote Chips.


I started this project with trimming the paper from Stamperia HOUSE OF ROSES 12x12 Paper and pasted  on the 4" X 6" tag. The tag was distressed using blending tools and Distress Ink Pads on the edges then outlined with a black pen. The sun, moon and stars were die cut and colored using Distress Paints. I distressed these embellishments with blending tools and Distress Ink Pads. n


The sun, moon and star embellishments were stamped with Prima Marketing FINNABAIR 2 Clear Stamp and Tsukineko Brilliance MOONLIGHT WHITE Archival Ink Pad. I adhered these embellishments on the  tag with Tombow Mono Glue. The blue gems were added on the embellishments. I finished this project with added the sentiment using Tim Holtz Idea-ology THEORIES Quote Chips.

Mixed Media Tag Feminine Prima Flowers



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "FEMININE". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia House of Roses 12 X 12 Paper on the background and decorated it with Prima Marketing Mauve Dreams Sharon Ziv Flowers and Tim Holtz Sizzix Bold Text 1 Thinlits Dies.


To start this project, I trimmed the paper from Stamperia House of Roses and pasted it on the size tag. I then distressed the edges of the tag using the blending tool and Distress Ink Pad, and outlined the tag with a black pen. The vintage portrait and Prima Flowers were arranged and adhered on the tag. 


The LOVE YOU letters were die cut with Tim Holtz Sizzix Bold Text 1 Thinlits Dies and distressed with the blending tool and Distress Ink Pad. I pasted the letters on the tag using Tombow Mono Glue. To finish this project, I added sentiments using Tim Holtz Stickers.

Mixed Media Tag AALL & Create Add Green



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "ADD SOME GREEN". As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from AALL & Create. Our guest designer for the month is Deborah Emmons aka designingdiva_73. Please visit her blog for all the great creations and inspiration!


 I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using AALL & Create Basic Veggies Clear Stamps
and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Quote Findings and Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Tiny Clips. To start this project, I stamped the tomato image on the watercolor paper and colored it with watercolors. The image was torn and pasted on the tag using Tombo Mono Glue.  


The tag was distressed with the blending tool and Distress Ink Pad. I then outlined the tag with a black pen. I added some sentiments with Tim Holtz stickers. The Tim Holtz Quote Band was colored with Distress Paint and adhered on the tag with double side tapes. To finish off this project, I randomly added some text prints with Tim Holtz Rub-on.
