Mixed Media Canvas Blessings

Meihsia Liu Simply Paper Crafts Mixed Media Canvas Simon Ssays Stamp Prima Flowers Texture 1

Hey, my sweet blog friends, let's have fun with the new challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. This week, we challenge to create with "Touchy Feely". You may add texture, emboss, attache flowers, buttons, gems or corrugated card. The possibilities are endless. I am looking forward to seeing your creation!

I was inspired to created a mixed media canvas with stenciled heart using Simon Says Stamp Mosaic Heart Stencil and Prima Flowers Modeling Paste.

I started this project with applying modeling paste over the mosaic heart stencil on the 5" x 7" canvas using a palette knife. I also applied some modeling paste randomly on the canvas to create the texture. The canvas was colored with various colors of Distress Paints.

The hearts were die cut, distressed and attached on the canvas. I added film strip embellishments and Big Chat Stickers to decorate it.

Some Prima Flowers and a colored metal key were attached on the canvas using Tombow Mono Glue and Adhesive Tabs. I added some Tim Holtz Rubs on and distressed the canvas around the edges as the final touch.
