Mixed Media Card Remember

Hello, my lovely crafty friends, let's create for the new challenge again! This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, our challenge theme is "MAKE YOUR OWN BACKGROUND".
As it is the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a company/designer and this week we are thrilled too be using Dyan Reaveley’s Dylusions Products. 

I created a mixed media card this week using Ranger Dylusions Ink Spray on the background and  Rangers Dylusions Paints on the butterfly embellishments.

This is a 4.25" X 5.5" card with a cream color card base. The background was colored on a piece of watercolor paper and stitched on the card base. 

I really love the beautiful vibrant colors of Delusion In Spray, so on the background I sprayed the ink with different shades over Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Lace. 

After the sprays were dry, I stamped Simon Says Falling Star Stamp and embossed it with Simon Says Gold Embossing Powder. 

The metal butterflies were covered with Gesso first then colored with Delusions Acrylic Paints. 

The sentiment was stamped using Tim Holtz Mini Motivation Stamp and Simon Says black ink pad on another piece of colored paper, cut and pasted on the card. 

I added the Prima Flower and metal embellishments on the card using Tombow Mono Glue and Adhesive Tabs. 

I really love the the fantastic colors of Dylusions Sprays and Paints on this card, and hope that inspired you to create with these products, too.
