Mixed Media Tag Clock

Hi, my dear blog friends, I hope you all have a great weekend. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. We challenge you created with the theme "Going Around in Circles". I was inspired to make a mixed media tag with a clock using Tim Holtz Sizzix Big Die Tick Tock and Tim Holtz Ink Distress Stain.

This is a 3.5" X 8" tag I cut from the chipboard. I also die cut the clock using Tim Holtz die and Big Shot. On the tag, I first glued the clock then applied Prima Flowers Heavy Gesso on the clock and background. I stenciled the tag using Tim Holtz Stencil Splotches and Distress Paint Spun Sugar. I also stenciled the clock face with Tim Holz Stencil Bubble and Distress Paint Mustard Seed. 

The clock was colored with Distress Paints and Distress Ink Stain to make the rusty effect. I randomly rubbed on some number and text print on the tag. 

The metal embellishments and sentiment stickers were added to decorate the tag. The edges of the tag were distressed using the Art Dauber and Simon Says Stamp Black Ink pad. I heat embossed the tag around the edges and the clock to create some texture as the final touch. 

I really love the beautiful pink stenciled circle pattern on the background and the pretty vintage round clock on this tag. I hope it inspired you and you'd join us for this week's challenge. Happy crafting!
