Mixed Media Tag Embossing It



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "EMBOSSING". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps THE PROFESSOR on the background, embossed it with Hero Arts EMBOSS CLEAR EMBOSSING POWDER and decorated it with Tim Holtz idea-ology PAPER DOLLS PORTRAiTS.


To start this project, I trimmed the watercolor paper and pasted it on the #8 tag. I stamped the background using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps THE PROFESSOR and the black ink pad, and heat embossed the images using the clear embossing powder and a heat tool. The background was colored with watercolors.


I attached big paper doll and Tim Holtz metal embellishments on the tag, then finished off this tag with adding sentiments using Tim Holtz stickers and the quote chip.

Food and/ or Drink Card



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "FOOD and / or DRINK". I was inspired to create a card using Simon Says Clear Stamps Old Fashioned and the black ink pad to stamp the image on the white card stock. I trimmed and layered the image with Simon Says Stamp Assorted Card Fronts 100lb, then pasted it on the white 4.25” X 5.5”card base. The image was colored with Copic SKETCH 72 PC SET C Markers.

Things with Wings Tag



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "THINGS WITH WINGS". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Shabby Rose 8x8 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz idea-ology Organic Layers and Tim Holtz idea-ology Quote Chip Labels.


I started this project with trimming the patterned paper and pasted it on the #8 tag. The tag was distressed with a distress tool and a black ink pad. 


I layered the embellishments from Tim Holtz idea-ology Organic Layers and pasted them on the tag using double sided foam tapes. The sentiments were added with Tim Holtz Chip Label and Sticker Book. To finish off this project, I adhered some metal embellishments on the tag.

Art Journal Brutus Monroe Stencil Fun



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "STENCIL FUN". As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Brutus Monroe. Our guest designer for this month is talented Estelle Palumbo. Please visit her blog for all the awesome creations and inspirations!


I was inspired to create an art journal page using Brutus Monroe Under the Big Top Mixed Media Stencil and Ranger Dylusions Shimmer Spray Bundle Of 6 on the background. I traced the stenciled image with a black pen. The paper doll from Tim Holtz idea-ology PAPER DOLLS PORTRAiTS was pasted on the journal page. I finished off this project with adding some sentiments using Tim Holtz idea-ology Clippings Sticker Book and Tim Holtz idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS .
