To start this project, I trimmed the heavy white card stock into a 4.25" X 5.5" card base. I cut another two pieces of card stock in different colors that are slightly smaller than the card base, then layered and pasted them on the card base using double side tapes.
On a piece of white card stock I stamped the flag image using the red ink pad and heat embossed the image with the clear embossing powder and a heat tool. The image was cut and pasted on the card. On a piece of blue card stock, I stamped the blue and stars part of the flag and heat embossed with the white embossing powder. The stars with the blue background was cut and pasted on the flag.
To decorate the card, I added some sticker sentiments and pasted the colored metal gears using Adhesive Dots. As the final step, I randomly glued some stars on the card.
