Make It Sparkle Featuring Paper Artsy



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "MAKE IT SPARKLE". As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Paper Artsy. Our designer this month is the lovely Anita Rao. Please visited her blog for all the awesome inspiration and great creations!


I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Paper Artsy Lynne Perrella Cling Stamps on the background. I heated embossed the images and colored the tag using Copic Markers. The tag was outlined with a black pen on the edges.


I decorated the tag with the sparkle Simon Says Stamp Sequins Hearts and Confetti and shiny Tim Holtz idea-ology METALLIC Sticker Book. The project was finished with adding a clip on the tag.

Mixed Media Holiday Christmas Tag



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "TREES". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz idea-ology 2024 Christmas Backdrops on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz idea-ology 2024 Christmas Layers and Paper Dolls and Tim Holtz idea-ology 2024 Christmas Sticker Book.


I started this project with trimming Tim Holtz Christmas Backdrop and pasted it on the #8 Tag. I outlined the tag with a black ink pad, a finger dauber and a black pen. 


The embellishments included a tree image from Tim Holtz idea-ology 2024 Christmas Layers and Paper Dolls were layered and pasted on the tag using the glue and foam tapes. To finish off this holiday tree tag, I attached more Christmas elements. Hope you like my creation for this week!

Christmas Holiday Tag Emboss It



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "EMBOSS IT". 


I was inspired to create a mixed media holiday tag using Simon Says Stamps and Dies Old Fashioned Christmas on the background and colored it with Copic SKETCH 72 PC SET E Markers.The image was heat embossed with Hero Arts EMBOSS ULTRA FINE CLEAR EMBOSSING POWDER and a heat tool. 

The final step was adding the sentiment with Tim Holtz idea-ology METALLIC Sticker Book and a clip on the top of the tag.

Mixed Media Tag Thank You


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "THANKS/ THANK YOU". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using  Simon Says Clear Stamps Par-Tea on the background, and colored it with Copic SKETCH 72 PC SET C Markers and Zig Clean Color 30 COLOR SET A Real Brush.


I started this project with stamping the image on the watercolor paper, and colored the image with Copic Markers and the background with Zig watercolors. The colored the image was trimmed and pasted on the #8 tag. 


The tag was outlined with the black pen. I stamped the sentiment using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps SIMPLE SAYINGS and pasted it on the tag, and also added the sentiments with Tim Holtz stickers.

Holiday Tag In My Heart Sending Love Thinking of You



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "THINKING OF YOU". As it’s the first Monday of November we are showcasing the fabulous Tim Holtz. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used. Our designer of the month is Teresa York. Please visit her blog for all the awesome creations and inspiration! 


I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Mr. Frostie and the black ink pad on the background. The image was colored with Copic Markers. I also colored the background of the tag with watercolors.


Some sentiments were attached on the tag using Tim Holtz idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS and Tim Holtz idea-ology METALLIC Sticker Book. I added some holiday embellishments to finish off this IN MY HEART THINKING OF YOU tag.

Stencil Watercolor Happy Birthday Tag Little Mermaid



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "STENCIL IT". I was inspired to create a birthday tag using Tim Holtz MINI STENCIL SET 5 on the background, and adding images with Simon Says Clear Stamps Once Upon a Dream and  Copic SKETCH 72 PC SET C Markers.

To start this project, I stamped the images using the stamps from  Simon Says Clear Stamps Once Upon a Dream and Tsukineko VersaFine ONYX BLACK Ink Pad. The background was colored with Altenew Artists Watercolor 24 Pan Set and the watercolor brush. The image was colored using COPIC markers.


I stenciled the sun rays on the background using Tim Holtz MINI STENCIL SET 5, Tim Holtz Flip Top Distress Paint Foursome Bundle 3 and Stamperia Create Happiness FINGER TOOLS Daubers to finish off this project.
