Mixed Media Tag Make Your Marks

Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "MAKE YOUR MARK". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Sizzix FOUNDRY 3D Embossing Folder on the background, and decorated it with scribble marks using Tim Holtz Sizzix MEDIA MARKS Thinlits Die and Tim Holtz Idea-ology BASEBOARDS WINDOW FRAMES. 

To start this project, I embossed the tag with Tim Holtz Sizzix FOUNDRY 3D Embossing Folder and colored it with Tim Holtz metalic Distress paint. The tag was distressed with an art dauber and the black in pad and. I die cut the scribble marks and pasted it on the tag using Tombow glue. 

I attached the portrait and frame on the tag. Some sentiment stickers were adhered. To finish off this project, I added some metal embellishments on the tag.

Rainbow Thanks Tag

Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "RAINBOW". I was inspired to create a watercolor tag using Simon Says Clear Stamps SWOOPY FLOWERS, then colored it with Zig CLEAN COLOR 90 SET Real Brush and decorated it with Prima Marketing INDIGO Flower And Branch Charms.

To start this project, I trimmed the size 8 tag with the watercolor paper. The flower images were stamped using Simon Says Clear Stamps SWOOPY FLOWERS and the black ink pad. I colored the images and background with Zig CLEAN COLOR 90 SET Real Brush.

The background were stamped using Simon Says Stamp Set of 37 INK PADS and Prima Marketing MESSY Finnabair Clear Stamp. The edges of the tag were distressed with Simon Says Stamp ink pads and art dauber, and outlined with a black pen. Some metallic sticker sentiments were adhered on the tag. I attached some metal embellishments and Prima Marketing INDIGO Flower Charms to finish off this Rainbow tag project.

Mixed Media Get Lucky Tag

Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "GET LUCKY". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia ALCHEMY 12x12 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology BASEBOARD FRAMES and Tim Holtz Sizzix LUCKY LOVE 3D Impresslits Cut and Emboss Folder.

To start this project, I trimmed the patterned paper from Stamperia ALCHEMY 12x12 Paper and pasted it on this size tag. The tag was distressed and outlined with Distress Ink Pad and a black pen. I die cut the clover and colored it with Distress Ink Pad and Art Daubers. 

I distressed the baseboard frame and adhered it on the tag. Some Tim Holtz metal embellishments were added on the tag. To finish off this GET LUCKY project, I pasted some sentiments with Tim Holtz metal stickers.

Easter Greeting Tag Add Texture

Hey, my talented crafty friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "ADD TEXTURE". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using

Simon Says Clear Stamps Easter Critters on the background, adding the texture with The Crafter's Workshop WHITE MODELING PASTE and coloring it with Zig Clean Color 30 COLOR SET A Real Brush.

To start this project, I trimmed this size 8 tag using the watercolor paper, then stamped the image and colored it with Zig Clean Color 30 COLOR SET A Real Brush. The edges of the colored were distressed using Distress Ink Pad and art daubers, and outlined with a black pen.

I stamped the sentiment and with black ink pad and colored it with watercolors. It was cut and pasted on the tag with the double side tape. To create the texture on the tag, I applied the modeling paste on the tag with the palette knife. After the modeling paste were dry, I added some colors on it with watercolors and ink pads.
