Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new
challenge. This challenge will last for 2 weeks, ending on New Years
day. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "LET IT SNOW". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Spray Salty Ocean Ranger on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Jolly Holiday and Tim Holtz Idea-ology CHRISTMAS Sticker Book.
I started this project with spraying Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Spray Salty Ocean Ranger on the background, applying the modeling paste on the lower part of
the tag with a palette knife, and splattered the white
gesso and water mixture on the tag. I also sprinkled some snow glitters to
create the sparkling snow scene on the background.
On a piece of heavy card stock I stamped the Santa image with red and black ink pad. I cut the red Santa image, the black belt and boots, and glue the belt and boots on the red Santa image. The image was added on the tag using double sided tapes. I also added the holiday sentiments using stickers from Tim Holtz Idea-ology CHRISTMAS Sticker Book and Tim Holtz Idea-ology 2023 Christmas Baseboards and Transparencies. I finished this holiday tag with attaching the colored wreath and stars in this snow scene.
