Mixed Media Tag Fur or Feathers


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "FUR or FEATHERS". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia SEA LAND 12x12 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Sizzix FUNKY NATURE Thinlits Dies and Tim Holtz Sizzix FEATHERED FRIENDS Thinlits Die.


I started this project with trimming the patterned paper from Stamperia SEA LAND collection and pasted it on the size 8 tag. The tag was distressed with Distresser, and the art dauber and Distress Ink Pad. The bird was die cut with Tim Holtz Sizzix FEATHERED FRIENDS Thinlits Die and Big Shot machine. I pasted the bird on the tag using the double sided tape.

The plants and flowers were die cut with Tim Holtz Sizzix FUNKY NATURE Thinlits Dies, arranged and adhered on the tag using Tombow Mono Glue. I added the sentiments using Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Quote Chip Labels to finish off this FEATHERS tag.

Mixed Media Tag Not a Card



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "NOT A CARD". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia SEA LAND 12x12 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology BASEBOARDS WINDOW FRAMES and Tim Holtz Idea-ology TRANSPARENT THINGS.


I started this project with trimming the patterned paper and pasted it on the tag. I distressed the tag with a distress tool, and an art dauber and Distress Paint. The window frame and scenery transparency were layered and pasted on the tag. The paper doll and the butterfly were layered and pasted on the window frame using the double sided tapes. 


The metal embellishments were colored with Distress Paints and adhered on the tag using Tombow Mono Glue. As the final touch, I added some sentiments with Tim Holtz Idea-ology CLIPPINGS Sticker Book.

Mixed Media Tag Tie It Up Ribbon



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "TIE IT UP". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia ALCHEMY 12x12 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology PAPER DOLLS PORTRAITS and May Arts WHITE Wrinkled Faux Silk Ribbon with Cut Edge.


I started this project with trimming the patterned paper and pasted it on the size 8 tag. I distressed the tag with a distress tool and outlined the tag with a black pen. The big paper doll was adhered on the tag using the double sided tape. 


The seam binding ribbon was colored with Distress Ink. I attached some Tim Holtz metal embellishments that were colored with Distress Paints. The sentiments were added using Tim Holtz metallic stickers book.

Mixed Media Tag Fun with Stencils Cat


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "FUN WITH STENCILS". As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Stamperia. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.


I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia ORCHIDS AND CATS 12x12 Paper on the background. I made the brick wall with Tim Holtz MINI STENCIL SET 3 and the white modeling paste. The wall was randomly colored with Distress Paints. 


I decorated the tag with Tim Holtz Idea-ology FACTORY TAGS Embellishments and more metal embellishments. I finish off this project with adding more sentiment stickers from Tim Holtz Idea-ology CLIPPINGS Sticker Book.
