Mixed Media Tag Vacation



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "VACATION". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps AIR TRAVEL on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology ODDS AND ENDS Embellishments and Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS.


To start this project, I stamped the background of the tag with Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps AIR TRAVEL and black ink pad. I colored the tag with watercolors and distressed it with art daubers and the black ink pad. The air plane and compass were stamped on a piece of watercolor paper and colored with watercolors. I cut them with scissors and adhered them on the tag with double sided tapes. 


Some sentiment stickers were added on the tag. I attached some metal embellishments to finish off this vacation project for this week.

Mixed Media Tag Pick a Number Love



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "PICK A NUMBER". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Sizzix INTERTWINED 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder on the background, and decorated it with Simon Says Stamp LARGE HOLIDAY SHAPES Wafer Dies and Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps VALENTINE BLUEPRINTS.


I started this project with embossing the tag using Tim Holtz Sizzix INTERTWINED 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder and Big Shot. I colored and distressed the tag with Distress Ink Pads and Art Daubers. Some die cut and watercolored hearts were added on the tag with double sided tapes. 


On a piece of watercolor paper I stamped the number 14 and watercolored it with Zig watercolor brushes. I added some metal embellishments on the tag and pasted some sentiments using Tim Holtz Sticker Book and Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS to finish off this PICK A NUMBER project.

Mixed Media Tag Masculine


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "MASCULINE". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using
Tim Holtz Sizzix MOSAIC 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder on the background, and decorated it with



I started this project with embossing the tag with Tim Holtz Sizzix MOSAIC 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder and Big Shot, coloring the background with Distress Paints, and heat embossing with the clear embossing powder. 



The vintage photo and frame were added on the tag. I attached the sentiment chip and metal embellishments on the tag. More sentiment stickers were pasted to finish off this masculine tag.

Mixed Media Tag Tim Holtz Not a Card



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "NOT A CARD". This week we are all using some fabulous products from Tim Holtz. And our guest designer is the lovely Kerry aka Kerry’s Papercraft. Please visit her blog for a real treat!


I was inspired to create a mixed media tag usin Tim Holtz Mini Stencil Set 55 on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology ENGRAVING and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Quote Chip Labels. To start this project, I sprayed Dylusion Spray Set over Tim Holtz Mini Stencil on this watercolor tag. I distressed the tag using art daubers and the ink pads, and a black pen. 


The vintage photo and frame were added on the tag with double sided tapes. I colored the paper embellishments from Tim Holtz Idea-ology ENGRAVING with Zig Clean Color 30 COLOR SET. I then attached the metal embellishments to finish off this NOT A CARD project.
