Mixed Media Tag Bird Outdoor

Hello, my lovely blog friends, let's create with the new challenge theme at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. With the weather getting warmer, we spend more time outdoor. This week, Simon challenges you to create with "THE GREAT OUTDOORS".

I really enjoy the beautiful green trees and those birds flying in the parks so I made this mixed media tag using Paper Artsy Fresco Chalk Acrylic Paints for coloring, and Tim Holtz Sizzix Die Bird Silhouette to decorate the tag.

On this size 8 tag, I first embossed the background using Tim Holtz Floral Embossing Folder, and applied Paper Artsy Chalk Acrylic Paints on it. I die cut the leaves and flowers using Sizzix Garden Green Thinlit Die and Simon Says Stamp Delicate Thistle Craft Die. 

The bird was die cut with Sizzix Bird Silhouette Die. The brick background and the pattern on the bird was stenciled using Tim Holtz Mini Stencil 3. All these die cut embellishments were colored with Paper Artsy Chalk Acrylic Paints and pasted on the tag using Tombow Mono Glue and Adhesive Tabs. I added the Big Tim Holtz Chat Stickers for the sentiments. 

I truly had fun creating this tag with these beautiful coloring products and hope you like it, too!
