Mixed Media Tag Thinking Of You Stamperia

Hey, my beautiful crafty friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "THINKING OF YOU". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia House of Roses Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Found Relatives and Stamperia Romantic Journal Die Cuts.

To start this project, I trimmed the patterned from Stamperia House of Roses and pasted it on the size 8 tag. The background of the tag was distressed with Distress Ink Pads and blending tools. I outlined the tag with a black pen. The embellishments from Stamperia Romantic Journal Die Cut were also distressed and outlined with a black pen. 

I arranged these die cut embellishments with the vintage photo and pasted them on the tag using Tombo Mono Glue and double sided tapes. The metal embellishments and the sentiment from Tim Holtz Label Sticker were added on the tag. For the final touch, I splattered some white Gesso and water mixture on the tag with a brush.

Mixed Media Halloween Tag Spooky

Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "SPOOKY/HALLOWEEN". I was inspired to create a spooky Halloween tag using the Crafter's Workshop White Modeling Paste on the background and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Halloween Paper Doll and Ephemera Pack. 

 

I started this project with applying the modeling paste on the background of the tag using a palette knife to create the texture. Then I colored the background with the Distress Ink Pads and blending tools. The tag was distressed with the Distress Ink Pads and outlined with a black pen. 

I attached the paper dolls on the tag using double sided tapes. Some sentiments and paper embellishments from Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Halloween Ephemera Pack were added on the tag with the Tombo Mono Glue. For the final touch, I randomly added some rubs on spooky images from Tim Holtz Idea-ology HALLOWEEN Remnant Rubs.
