Live Life Mixed Media Canvas

Hey, my friends, can't believe Fall is officially here. Hope you all enjoy the cool weather. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, we'd love to see you to finish off a project with a stamp. This is also a perfect way to end our STAMPtember celebration!

I was inspired to create a mixed media canvas with some stamping as a final touch.
There are some certain color schemes that I love to have on my projects. To create a mixed media canvas with a different color combo this week, I tried Tim Holtz Distress Paint Ever Green Bough.
As usual, I prepared this canvas with Gesso. To create the texture on the background I pasted a piece of embossed paper after blending the Distress inks on it.
Tim Holtz metal embellishments were colored and attached on the canvas.
Some texture was made with stencils and modeling paste. I also added some rub on sticker to create more interest.
After attaching some Tim Holtz and Prima Flowers embellishments, I stamped the Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Cracks & Specks as the final touch and I love the beautiful crackled effect.

I hope you like my mixed media canvas and got inspired to create something with a stamp to finish off it.

Join us this week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge since Simon Says Stamp is giving away a $50 gift voucher. You might also be on our Friday Designer Spotlight!

Quick and Simple Creative Card

Today I'd like to share a simple and quick card featuring ColorBox® Creative Cards and ColorBox® Spritzers.

I've always love to create simple and quick cards using ColorBox® Creative Cards. There are 5 preprinted cards (5 1/2" x 4 1/4" folded) and 5 blank envelopes in each pack. Usually, you can simply decorate the preprinted cards by spraying or stamping over the design then layering embellishments onto dry card.

To create my card, I use two Creative Cards CityScape - one is the card base and another one is for coloring and fussy cutting the preprinted images.

To color the blue sky on the card base, I mix the Spritzers and water, then apply the mixture on the card with a pen brush.  I use the same method to color the images on the second Creative Card.

After both cards are dry, I fussy cut the colored images on the second card, and adhere them on the card base using Foam Square to add dimension. Some beautiful die cut embellishments from Fancy Pants Meology Collection were attached to finish off this card.

I hope you like my card and are inspired to create using these fun ColorBox® Creative Cards and ColorBox® Spritzers. Check Clearsnap blog for more inspiration. Happy crafting!

Art Journal Life

Hey, everyone! I am so happy you are here. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, we challenge you to use stamps and stencils - whether you stick with STAMPtember stamping or mix it up and pull out a stencil – this week we want to see how you stamp or stencil your way into crafty fun!

I created an art journal page with my favorite stamp and stencil this week.

I love to create mixed media art journal pages. Stamps and stencils are essential for my art journaling. This week, I used my favorite Tim Holtz Rubber Stamp Brush Collection and Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Harlequin to create this project.

The paper I used was from Prima Flowers Sunrise and Sunset collection. The background of this page was sprayed with Clearsnap Colorbox Pinkolicious Dye Ink Spritzer and stenciled with Modeling Paste.

As usual, I love to attatch some beautiful Prima Flowers on my projects.

The brush collection image was stamped on another piece of patterned paper from the Sunrise and Sunset colloection, and glued on the background.
