Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "IT'S UP IN THE AIR". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia ALCHEMY 12x12 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Sizzix Vault Lovebirds Thinlits Dies and Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS.
To start this project, I trimmed the pattern paper from Stamperia ALCHEMY 12x12 Paper and pasted it on the #8 tag. I distressed the tag with the distress tool, and the art daubers and Distress Ink Pads.
I die cut the tree branches, birds and hearts using Stamperia ALCHEMY 12x12 Paper and Big Shot, and distressed them with a distress tool, art daubers and Distress Ink Pads. These die cut embellishments were attached on the tag using the foam tapes. To finish off this project, I added the sentiments with Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS and Tim Holtz Idea-ology METALLIC Sticker Book.

Lovely tag! I adore your birds and the fabulous colors you used to help give them more life! Birds are definitely something that are up in the air and making the world a more beautiful place with their feathers as well as their song. Thank you so much for sharing!
