Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This
week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "ART JOURNAL". I was inspired to create an owl journal page using the owl image from
Prima Marketing Owl redesign Decor Transfers with the background from
Stamperia House of Roses 12 x 12 Paper and decorated it with
Prima Marketing Foliage Hello Pink Autumn Flowers.
I started this project with trimming the art journal page background from the
collection of Stamperia House of Roses Paper. I distressed the background with
a blending tool and Distress Ink Pads, then outlined the page with a black
pen.
The owl image and some text prints were transferred on to the journal page. I
added some sentiments using Tim Holtz stickers. The leave embellishments were
attached using Tombo Mono Glue. I really love this simple and beautiful
journal page, and this cute owl. Hope this project inspired you to join us.
