Mixed Media Tag Food or Drink

Hello, my dear crafty friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "FOOD and or DRINK". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Idea-ology BACKDROPS VOLUME 1 on the background, and decorated it with Altenew FRIENDS FOREVER Clear Stamps, Tim Holtz Idea-ology GAUGE FRAMES Embellishments and Ranger Dina Wakley Media SPEAK OUT Chipboard Shape.

I started this project with trimming the paper from Tim Holtz Backdrop Vol. 1 and pasted it on the size 8 tag. I distressed the tag using the blending tool and Distress Ink pad then outlined the tag with a black pen. 

 

I stamped the cup image with Altenew FRIENDS FOREVER Clear Stamps and the black ink pad on three different heavy card stocks: the lid with black card stock, the cup with white and the sleeve with Kraft card stock. I then cut them and adhered them with double sided tapes. 

I added the sentiments using Ranger Speak Out Chipboard and some Tim Holtz stickers. The metal embellishments from Tim Holtz were attached on the tag using Tombo Mono Glue. To finish off this project, I splattered some Distress Ink and water mixture on the tag using a Ranger Pipette Dropper.
