Mixed Media Tag Something New

Hey, my friends, Happy New Year! I hope you had a fantastic holiday season and wish you the very best for 2022!  This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "SOMETHING NEW" - New Year, New Home, New Baby, New Life, New Crafty Stash, etc: As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company - Carabelle Studio. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

Although I didn't get a chance to use the products from Carabelle Studiowas I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using my new clear stamp Stamperia Lady Vagabond Cling Stamps and decorated it with Prima Marketing Mauve Dream Sharon Ziv Flowers and Tim Holtz IDea-Ology Theories Quote Chips. To start this project, I cut and pasted the background paper from Stamperia Cosmos Collection on the size 8 tag. 

On a piece of watercolor paper, I stamped the lady and her luggage images using Stamperia Lady Vagabond Cling Stamps and the black ink pad. These images were colored with watercolors and brushes, then cut and pasted on the tag using double sided tapes. I added the sentiment chip, Prima Flowers and some metal embellishments to finish off this project.
