Mixed Media Tag Embossing Folder Wood Texture

Hey, my dear friends, welcome back to the new challenge! This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "USE AN EMBOSSING FOLDER". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Sizzix Lumber 3D Embossing Folder on the background, and decorated it with Stamperia Romantic Journal Die Cuts and Prima Marketing Mauve Dream Sharon Ziv Flowers.

I started this project with embossing the background with wood grain texture using Tim Holtz Sizzix Lumber 3D Embossing Folder and Big Shot on a piece of watercolor paper. I trimmed and pasted the embossed wood grain paper on the size 8 tag. The tag was colored and distressed with Distress Ink Pads then outlined with a black pen.

I added some embellishments with a vintage photo, romantic die cuts and beautiful Prima Flowers. Some sentiment stickers were adhered to finish off this project. I really love the beautiful embossed wood grain texture on this tag. Hope this project inspired you to join us this week. Happy crafting!
