Hey, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "STAMP IT". We are asking you to use a stamp, no digi images allowed. STAMPtember® is a very special month in the Simon Says Stamp Store calendar, and this week we are showcasing the latest STAMPtember® products and although you probably don’t have these supplies yet we would like

I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using
Stamperia Cosmos 8X8 Paper
on the background and added the sentiment with
Simon Says Clear Stamp Magical To Me. To start this project, I trimmed the paper from Stamperia Cosmos and pasted it on the size 8 tag. The edges of the tag were distressed using Distress Ink Pad and a blending tool, and outlined with a black pen.
On the background of the tag, I stamped and heat embossed some stars and words with metallic embossing powder. I cut a piece of pattern paper from the same paper collection and stamped the sentiment, then adhered the paper on the tag using foam tabs. Some gears from Stamperia Gears and Clocks Gray Board were colored with the metallic ink pad and pasted on the tag randomly.
