Mixed Media Tag Stitch It

Happy Monday, my crafty friends! Welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "STITCH IT". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Paper House of Roses and decorated it with Stamperia Sir Vagabond Gears and Clocks Grayboard, and added the sentiment with Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Strips Sunshine and Rainbows. 

I start this project with trimming the paper from Stamperia House of Roses and pasted it on the size 8 tag. I also cut out a small tag from the same paper collection. Both tags were distressed using the blending tool and Distress Ink Pad. I also outlined these tags with a black pen. I made some stitches around the edges of these tags with the sewing machine.

The gears and key embellishments from Stamperia Vagabond Gear and Clocks Grayboard were colored with the metallic ink pad, then distressed using the Distress Ink Pad and outlined with a black pen. I added the sentiment on the small tag then adhered the small tag on the tag using double sided tabs. Some metal embellishments were attached to finish off this project.
