Mixed Media Tag Heat Embossing Birthday Cake

Hey, my talented friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "HEAT EMBOSSING". I was inspired to create a birthday tag using Simon Says Stamp and Dies DO WHAT IT CAKES Make Magic, and colored it with Zig Portable Gansai Tambi 14 Colors Travel Watercolor Set and Royal Langnickel Xen Watercolor Brush Set, then heat embossed it with Simon Says Stamp Embossing Powder Clear.

I started this project with applying Distress Paints with different colors on this tag that made with corrugated cardboard. The whole background of the tag was heat embossing with the clear embossing powder and a heat tool. 

On a piece of watercolor paper, I stamped the cake, candles and flowers images with the black ink pad, then heat embossed the images with the clear embossing powder. I colored these images with Zig Travel Watercolor Set and Loyal Langnickel Brushes, die cut these images then adhered them on the tag using double sided foam tapes. 

I attached some colored metal embellishments and clip, then added the sentiments with Tim Holtz Label Stickers and Metallic Stickers to finish off this project. Hope you like my birthday tag and got a chance to play your embossing powder with your heat tool. Join us and happy crafting!
