Hello, my friends, welcome back to the new challenge. Our theme this week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is "MOVIE INSPIRED". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using
Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps At the Movies and decorated it with
Idea-Ology Mimi Gears Sprockets
and
Factory Tag Embellishments.
To start this project, I trimmed the patterned paper from Tim Holtz Memoranda Paper Collection and pasted it on the size 8 tag. The tag was distressed using the blender and Distress Ink pad and outlined with a black brush pen.
I stamped the images from Tim Holtz At the Movies stamps using different ink pads on the paper from the same Tim Holtz paper collection. The images were colored using the brush and ink pads, then cut and distressed with Distress Ink pads and blenders. I adhered these images on the tag using Tombow Glue and double sided tapes.
I added the filmstrip, some metal hardware and embellishments on the tag. The final step was pasted the sentiment sticker. I really enjoyed creating this vintage movie inspired tag with these fun and awesome Tim Holtz products. Hope you got inspired and create. Join us and happy crafting!

Oh, I love it - it's like a trip to the cinema when things were still just a little bit glamorous or exciting. Brilliant retro styling - the metal plaque makes me so happy! Sorry it's taken me most of the week to get round to visiting - as you may know, things are a bit mad round my way at the moment.
