Mixed Media Tag Own Your Dreams Dina Wakley Play with Paint

Hey, my talented crafty friends, welcome back for the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "PLAY WITH PAINT". As it's the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Dina Wakely. 
And our guest designer this week is Sheila Wy aka 216 Alchemy Lane. Please check her blog for all the fantastic projects!

I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Scales on the background and colored it with Dina Wakley Ranger Peacock Acrylic Paint and Eggplant Acrylic Paint. The metal embellishment was also colored with Dina Wakley Ranger Acrylic Paint. 

I pasted the vintage photo on the tag and added some sentiment stickers around the photo. 

The quote chip was colored with Dina Wakley Ranger Acrylic Paint and adhered on the tag using Tombow Mono Glue. The butterflies stickers from Tim Holtz Curiosity Sticker Book were attached on the tag. I distressed the edges of the tag with the paint and a black pen to finish off this project.
