Mixed Media Tag A Day at the Beach

Hello, my crafty friends, welcome back for the new challenge! This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challengewas our theme is "A DAY AT THE BEACH". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Rubber Stamp Seashell Sketch and decorated it with Prima Marketing Rusty Knnobs Finnabair Mechanicals, Tim Holtz Sizzix Media Marks Thinlits Die and Impression Obession Cling Stamps Life's a Beach.

I started this project with applying a layer of Gesso on this size 8 tag. After it was dried, I spared the Distress Spray with different colors on the tag. The sentiment and the seashell were stamped, heat embossed, then cut and pasted on the tag.  The seashell was colored using Daniel Smith watercolors. 

Some sentiments and text print were added on the background of tag using Tim Holtz Remnant Rubs and Quotation Stickers. 

I die cut the waves using Tim Holtz Sizzix Media Marks Thinlits Die and Big Shot, and pasted it on the tag using Tombow Mono Glue. The tag was decorated with some metal embellishments from Tim Holtz   Idea-Ology Factory Tag and Prima Marketing Hardware Accent Finnabair Mechanicals.
