Hello, my talented crafty friends, let's play the new challenge! Our theme at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge this week is "WARM WINTER WISHES". I was inspired to create a mixed media wall decor for Christmas using Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Christmas Quote Chips and Quote Tokens to decorate the canvas.
To start this project, I pasted a piece of vintage Christmas image from Idea-Ology Ephemera on this 4" X 6" canvas and applied some Distress Paints around the edges of the canvas for the distressed effect.
The Prima Round Frame and the Trophy Antler were colored with Distress Paints and pasted on the canvas using the heavy gel. I decorated the frame with some paper flowers and decorated the rein deer with the bell necklace.
Some sentiments were added with Christmas Quote Tokens and Chips on the canvas. I added the snow around the canvas and randomly the embellishments using Prima Flowers Snowflake Paste and a palette knife. To finish off this project, I splattered some white Distress Paint and a paint brush.

Amazing effect on the stag's head - and I love the pops of red from the words in the medallion as well as the quote chips. Fabulous composition for a wonderful piece of home decor.
