Mixed Media Tag New Year Party Time

Hello, my friends! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! This week, we are all getting into the Christmas spirit and we are all ready to party! Our theme this week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is "PARTY TIME". The challenge is running for two whole weeks so you have until 8am on January 7th to join in.

I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamp Birthday Blueprint and Mini Blueprint Strip Beer Cling Stamp to decorate it.

The tag was colored with Distress Paints on the background, and stamped with Tim Holtz Rubber Stamp Theories and the black ink pad. I heat embossed the images with the Clear Embossing Powder and a heat tool. Some Distress Paints with different colors were splattered on the background.

On a piece of white card stock, I stamped the party heat, a bottle and popcorn, then heat embossed these images. These images were colored with watercolors, cut and pasted on the tag. 

The stamped sentiment were added on the tag with some sticker sentiments. I distressed the tag with Some Distress Paint around and tag and outlined the tag with a black brush pen. Some Distress Paints colored Star Findings were attached on the tag to make it more interesting.
