Mixed Media Tag Welcome Baby

Hello, my dear blog friends, HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you enjoyed your Christmas, and hope all your aspirations come true in 2017. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, our theme is "START AFRESH" and We would like you to use something fresh out of the packaging, i.e. something never used before.

We are showcasing the fabulous Carabelle Studio Products this week. If you have them we would love to see them used, but you don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge. 

I started my new year with creating a mixed media tag using Carabelle Studio Heart and Pebble Cling Stamp and new Simon Says Stamp Handlettered Greeting Wafer Die.

I started this project with applying Modeling Paste on the size 8 tag using a palette knife for the texture. The background was colored with Distress Paints and stenciled with Tim Holtz Layering Stencil for then patterns. 

I randomly stamped some text print and patterns on the tag, and pasted Tim Holtz Big stickers on the tag for the final touch. 

I stamped two hearts on a piece of white card stock using Carabelle heart stamp, cut them out and pasted on the tag using Tomobw Mono Glue. The sentiment "Welcome Baby" was die cut using Simon Says Stamp Handlettered Wafer Die.
