Mixed Media Tag Fall Colors Mood Board



Hey, my dear friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "FALL COLORS MOOD BOARD". I was inspired to create a mixed media fall tag using Tim Holtz Etcetera #8 Tag Chipboard, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Sizzix Fall Foliage Thinlits Die and Tim Holtz dea-Ology Halloween Ephemera Pack.



To start his project, I applied Distress Ink Paint on this size 8 tag, and distressed it with Distress Ink Pad and a blending tool. I also outlined it with a black  pen. All these fall leave embellishments were die cut using Tim Holtz Backdrop Paper, Tim Holtz Fall Thinlits Die and the Big Shot machine. 


These leaves were distressed with the blending tool and outlined with a black pen too. I arranged and layered them with the paper and sentiment from Tim Holtz Halloween Enphemera, then adhered them on the tag using Tombow Mono Glue and Double sided tapes. I really love playing these fall leaves with different fall colors of Distress Ink Pad. Hope you like my mixed media tag, and got inspired by this fall colors mood board to create your own project. Mixed Media Art Journal Page Remember Today



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "NOT A CARD". As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Stamperia!. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

Our guest designer this month is the lovely Lyla aka A Chief’s Wife’s Heart’s A Fire. Please visit her blog for all the fantastic creations and awesome inspiration!

I was inspired to create a mixed media art journal page using Stamperia House of Rose Paper on the background, and decorated the page with Stamperia Romantic Journal Die Cuts and Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Tiny Text Remnant Rubs. To start this project, I trimmed the paper from Stamperia House of Roses and pasted it on the art journal page. I distressed the edges of the page with blending tools and different colors of Distress Ink Pads. I also outlined the pages with a black pen. 

I colored, distressed and outlined the die cuts from Stamperia Romantic Journal Die Cut. Then arranged and pasted these die cuts on the journal page. To finish off this project, I randomly added some sentiments and texts on the page with Tim Holtz Tiny Text Rubs.
