Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "FUN WITH PAINT". I was inspired to create a watercolor birthday card using Rainbow Splash Cardstock Rainbow Pack as the card base, then Stamped the card with Simon Says Stamps and Dies Cottagecore set, and colored it with it with Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi 24 COLOR Set.
I started this project with trimming the 4.25" X 5.5"card base with layering two pieces of card stock from Rainbow Splash Cardstock Rainbow Pack. The watercolor paper was cut and pasted on the card base. I colored the green grass and blue sky on the background of the card base with Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi 24 COLOR watercolor paint Set.
On a piece of watercolor paper, I stamped the house and clouds using Simon Says Stamps and Dies Cottagecore set and Tsukineko VersaFine ONYX BLACK Ink Pad, colored them with the watercolor paints. The house and clouds were cut and pasted on the card with double side foam tapes. To finish this project, I stamped the sentiment using the same stamp collection, cut and pasted it on this fun watercolor birthday card.
