Mixed Media Tag Lazy Days of Summer

Hello, my dear friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "LAZY DAYS OF SUMMER". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Sea World Paper and Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Rays on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Cling Rubbers Stamp Ponderings and Mariner Blueprint.

I started this project with trimming the paper from Stamperia Sea World collection and pasted it on this size 8 tag. The tag was distressed with Distress Ink Pad and a blending tool. I stenciled the tag with Tim Holtz Layering Rays and yellow Distress Paint. On a piece of patterned paper from the same Stamperia Paper collection, I stamped and anchor, cut and pasted it on the tag using foam tabs. 

The sentiment was stamped using Tim Holtz Rubber Stamp Ponderings and the black ink pad, then heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I added the metal embellishments that were colored with Distress Paints on the tag. I really enjoy creating this summer tag with the beautiful rusty effect and sunny colors. Mixed Media Tag Summer Memories

Hello, my friends, welcome back to the new challenge! This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

 our theme is "SUMMER MEMORIES". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Paper Rose Inky Antic Paper on the background and decorated it with Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamp Fresh Brewed Blueprint and Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Big Talk Snarky. 

I started this project by trimming the paper from Rose Paper Inky Antic Paper Collection then pasted it on the size 8 tag. On the background of the tag , I stamped the iced coffee blueprint image and added some Remnant Rubs. Some metal embellishments and stitched scraps were adhered on the tag using Tombow Glue. 

On another piece of paper from the same collection, I stamped the iced coffee image, cut it and pasted it on this size 8 tag using double sided tapes. 

Some sentiments from Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Big Talk Snarky and Quotation Stickers were added on the tag.  I really enjoyed creating this SUMMER MEMORIES tag with this beautiful colored paper and the cute iced coffee image.
