Trees Card



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "TREE". I was inspired to create a simple card with a tree theme using Papertrey Ink Towering Trees Clear Stamps on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz idea-ology Paper Dolls Mini and Tim Holtz idea-ology SENTIMENTS Label Stickers.


I started this project with trimmed the card base of two different colors of heavy card stock from Rainbow Splash Cardstock Rainbow Pack and a piece of watercolor paper, layered and adhered them together. The tree images were stamped on the watercolor paper using  Papertrey Ink Towering Trees Clear Stamps and Ranger Simon Hurley 12 Stellar Ink Pads Bundle. 

The background of the card was colored using Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi Set 1 Metallic 24 Piece Watercolor Set and Royal Langnickel ZEN WATERCOLOR BRUSH 0.75 INCH WASH. I added the mini dolls on the card and pasted the sentiment from Tim Holtz idea-ology SENTIMENTS Label Stickers to finish off this tree project.
