Mixed Media Tag Blooming Blooms

Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "BLOOMING BLOOMS". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Shabby Rose 8x8 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Sizzix WILDFLOWER STEMS 1 Thinlits Die and Tim Holtz idea-ology LOCKET KEYS Metal Hardware Keyhole.

I started this project with trimming the patterned paper and pasted it on the #8 tag. The tag was distressed with a distress tool, an art dauber,  a red ink pad and a black pen. 

The flowers were die cut using colorful heavy card stocks and Big Shot, then arranged and pasted on the tag using double sided tapes. I added some sentiments with Tim Holtz stickers and Thoughts Label. To finish off this project, I tied a seam binding bow and adhered some metal embellishments on the tag.
