Mixed Media Tag E is for Enjoy The Journey

Hello, friends, welcome back for the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "E is for ..." - think Elephants, Embossing, Envelope, Everlasting, the list is endless!

I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using the Stamperia Sea World Paper on the background and embellished the "ENJOY THE JOURNEY" sentiment using Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Theories Quote Chips.

I started this project with trimming the paper from Stamperia Sea World collection, cut an X on the paper,  and opened it by rolling four corners of the X. Some flowers were adhered on it. I layered this paper with another piece of paper from the same collection then pasted them onto the size 8 tag.

The tag was distressed on the edges using Distress Ink Pad. I embellished some metal gears and and added some sentiments on the tag to finish this project.
