Mixed Media Tag Tim Holtz Tag It

Happy Monday, my friends! It's so great to have you here again. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "TAG IT". As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Tim Holtz! You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

This week we are welcoming the lovely Ann Chuang into the Designer Spotlight. Please remember to check her blog for all the great inspiration. 

I was inspired to create a mixed tag using Tim Holtz Sizzix Cut Out Leaves Thinlits Die Set on the background and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Quotations Metallic Stickers.

To start this project, I pasted the watercolor paper on this size 8 tag and colored it using Daniel Smith watercolors. I die cut the paper from Tim Holtz Abandoned collection with Tim Holtz Sizzix Cut Out Thinlits Die then pasted it on the tag using Tombow Mono Glue. 

The tag was added sentiments using Tim Holtz Special Delivery Rubs On and Metallic Quotations Stickers. I attached some metal embellishments on the tag. The edges of the tag was distressed using a Distress Tool and colored using Gesso and a brush. To finish off this project, I randomly splattered some Gesso and water mixture on the tag.
