Mixed Media Christmas Tag Gift It

Hello, my talented crafty friends, welcome back! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving weekend or fall break! At Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge this week, we challenge you create with the theme "Gift It". Christmas will soon be here and we thought it would be nice to dedicate a challenge to think about gifts. Handmade gifts are always well received, so maybe you would like to make someone something special, or you can make something to be used for the wrapping, tag, bag, box, paper etc.

I was inspired to create a mixed media Christmas gift tag using Tim Holtz Sizzix Die Mini Wreath and Bow, and Idea-Ology Trophy Antlers to decorate the tag.

To start this project, I applied Distress Paints on the background of the tag. The Christmas wreath was die cut using Sizzix Mini Die Wreath and Bow. I outlined the edges of the tag and the wreath using a black brush pen. 

The Christmas trees were colored with Distress Paint green color then applied with Gesso as snow on the trees. I randomly added some holiday sentiments on the background. 

All the winter or holiday elements were colored using Distress Paints and attached on the tag using the heavy gel. I added some Gesso on some embellishments as the final touch. Hope you like my Christmas gift tag and got inspired to create your GIFT for this holiday. Join us and have fun!
