Mixed Media Art Journal Food and Drink Beer

Hi,  welcome back for the new challenge! I hope you all had fun joining us last week. Our new challenge theme this week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is "FOOD and/or DRINK".
I was inspired to make a mixed media art journal page using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Beer Blueprint and colored the images using Copic Markers.

On this watercolor paper art journal page, I first stenciled and stamped some images and text on the background using Tim Holtz mini stencil and Brush Stroke stamp, and Prima text stamp. 

On a piece of white card stock, I stamped the beer bottle, mug and a pretzel images and heat embossed them with the clear embossing powder. I colored these images using Copic markers then cut and pasted them on the journal page using foam tabs. 

Some snarky sentiments were pasted using Tim Holtz Small Talk stickers and Rubs on. I added some paint splatters using the same mini stencil and Dylusion Paints. 

I really had fun creating this page with this beer theme and hope you enjoyed it, too. I can't wait to see what you create!

Mixed Media Tag Transport It Travel

Hello, all my lovely crafty friends, I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. Let's have fun with the new challenge! This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, our theme is "Transport It". You may include planes, trains, automobiles, boats, bicycles, hot air balloons, etc., in your project. 

I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Sizzix 3D Foundry Texture Fades Embossing Folder for the texture on the background and decorated it with the images using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamp Travel Ways.

To start this project, I cut a 3" x 6.25" tag with a piece of heavy white card stock, and embossed it with Sizzix 3D Foundry Texture Fades Embossing Folder and Big Shot.

The background of the tag was colored with Distress Ink pad and a blending tool for the metal-like texture. I distressed the edges of the tag using black Distress Paint. 

On a piece of white card stock, I stamped different vehicle images using the black ink pad, and heat embossed them using the clear embossing powder and a heat tool. The images were colored using Copic markers, cut and pasted on the tag using adhesive foam tabs for dimensions. 

I added a funny sticker sentiment and some random rub on images on the tag to finished of this project. Yes, I really need a long vacation :P
