I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Sizzix Die Gadget Gears and decorated with stamped image using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Travel Ways. On the background of this size 8 tag, I first applied Dylusion Paint then a layer of the crackle paint. The edges of the tag were distressed with a black brush pen.
I die cut some gears using Sizzix Die Gadget Gears and Big Shot with a piece of chipboard. The gears were colored with Dylusion Paint and covered with the crackle paint, then adhered on the tag using Tombow Mono Glue.
The text print was stamped on a piece of white paper with Tim Holtz cling stamp and Simon Says Stamp black ink pad. The stamped paper was distressed on the edges using a blending tool and Distress Ink Pad. I layered it with a piece of torn corrugated paper on the tag.
The last step to finish off the tag was adding the sentiment sticker. I really enjoy creating all these masculine elements on this project with the rusty effect and color scheme. GORGEOUS! I'm pretty sure there isn't a style or theme that you CAN'T do! This is fabulous and I especially like how you wrapped string/wire around the ticket to add even more texture and dimension. There are so many great ideas at work here!
