I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using the new Simon Says Stamp Picture Book Gorilla Wafer Die and added the sentiment with Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Life Quotes.
On the background of the tag, I sprayed various shades of Prima Pigment Spray then stamped some text print after the sprays were dry. I sprayed on another piece of cardstock using the same color scheme and die cut the leaves for the embellishments.
I really love this cute gorilla so I stamped it with black ink and colored it using watercolors and a brush pen. There are many other adorable animal dies from Simon Says Stamp that you should check here.
The sentiment was stamped using Tim Holtz cling rubber stamp Life Quotes and black ink pad. I colored the number 2018 with Distress Paint and pasted it on the tag using Tombow Mono Glue.
I really enjoyed creating this fun tag with this new die of cute gorilla from Simon Says Stamp, and I hope this inspired you to create with us in the beginning of the new year 2018. On this joyous occasion of New Year, cherish our memories and feel the warmth of my wishes. Happy New Year!

This is such a fantastic tag! I love the corrugated cardboard and I thought the bee on the metal clip was so clever! I also like the sentiment and how it relates to a new year! Well done!
