I created an art journal page using Tim Holtz Distress Spray Stain on the background and decorated the page with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Botanical Layers Paperie.
I really love Tim Holtz Botanical Layers and use these paper flowers, birds and butterflies a lot on this page. To start this project, I sprayed Tim Holtz Distress Spray Stain on the background of this page. I made this art journal with watercolor paper in size 9" X 6".
The background was stamped using Tim Holtz stamps and various Simon Says Stamp Ink Pads. I also randomly rubbed on some text and images on the background.
The flower and bird images were layered and pasted on the page using Tombow Mono Glue and Adhesive Tabs to create the dimensional effect. I also rubbed some random images on the paper embellishments.
Some sentiments were attached using Tim Hotlz Chit Chat Stickers. Around the edges of this art journal page, I first dabbed red then black Distress Paint for distressed effect.
I really love how easy it is to create the beautiful journal page using the Botanical Layers. I hope you love my creation, and got inspired to create something not a card and join us! Can't wait to see what you create!
