Hey, my beautiful crafty friends, let's create for this week's challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Our theme for this week is "MONOCHROME" - just pick a color and stick to it!
I created a mixed media tag to celebrate Halloween using Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint on the background and decorated the tag with Idea-Ology Halloween Ephemera Pack.
To create the project this week, I used #8 black tag as the base, applied Ranger crackle paint first, then distressed the edges of the tag using Tim Holtz Paper Distresser Tool.
For the white image and text on the background, I used Tim Holtz Halloween rubs on. You may also used many Tim Holtz Halloween related stamps and white ink pad to stamp on the background. Or use Tim Holtz Halloween stamps and any color of stamp, then heat emboss with white embossing powder. They will create the same beautiful white image and text contrast the dark background.
The Halloween Ephemera image was covered with clear crackle paint. The clip and alpha parts were colored with distress paints then the crackle paint. I pasted these embellishments on the tag using Tombow Mono Glue and Tombow Adhesive Tabs.
