This wall hanging was made of four 3" X 3" mini canvases. I started this project with applying modeling paste on the canvases using a palette knife. Then I sprayed Distress Spray Stain on these canvases with random shades.
I stamped four sea creature blue prints on the watercolor paper that was already colored with Distress Spray Stain and water mixture. Then I stamped these sea creatures again to cut and pasted on the previous stamped blue prints using foam tabs to create dimensional effect.
The sentiments were added using Tim Holtz Big Chat stickers. The metal heart and tiny bottle were embellished on the canvases.
I distressed the edges of the canvases using blue and black Faber Castell Big Brush Pens. The final step was splattered some Gesso and water mixture on the canvas.
