Christmas Tree Tag

Hello, my dear crafty friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "TREES". I was inspired to create a Christmas tag using Stamperia Classic Christmas 6X6 Paper and added a vintage station wagon using Simon Says Stamp Vintage Christmas Station Wagon Wafer Dies Peace On Earth.

I started this project with trimming the paper from Stamperia Classic Christmas Paper and pasted it on the thick board to make the big tag. The tag was distressed with a blending tool and Distress Ink Pads then outlined with a black pen. 

On the watercolor paper I die cut the station wagon and tree image and colored it with watercolors. The image was distressed with a blending tool and ink pads. I outlined the image with a black pen, then pasted it on the tag with double sided tapes. Some more Christmas sentiments were cut out from the same Stamperia Classic Christmas Paper collection and adhered on the tag with double sided tapes. To finish off this project, I randomly splattered some Gesso and water mixture to create the snow effect.

Simple Thank you Card

Hey, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "THANKS/ THANKSGIVING". I was inspired to create a simple thank you card using the Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Backdrops Volume 1for the background and decorated it with Tim Holtz Sizzix Wildflower Steam Thinlits Die. The sentiment was die cut using CZ Design Extra Large Thank You Wafer Dies.

I started this project by trimming the background paper from Tim Holtz Backdrop Paper Volume 1 and adhered it on the 4.25" X 5.5" white card base using double sided tapes. The wildflowers were die cut and arranged to adhered on the card. I also die cut the sentiment and adhered it on the card using double sided tapes. To finish off this card, I attached some metal embellishments on the flower and randomly on the sentiment die cut.

Merry Christmas Visible Image Any Holiday Occasion

Hey, my talented crafty friends, hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "ANY HOLIDAY OCCASION". 

As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Visible Image. Our guest designer this month is Laura Cassina aka elaborando. Please visit her wonderful blog for all the great inspiration!

I was inspired to create a Christmas card using Visible Image Lost In Music Clear Stamp, and decorated it with Stamperia Classic Christmas 6X6 Paper and stamped sentiments from Stamperia Christmas Patchwork Clear Stamp. To start this project, I stamped the girl image on a piece of watercolor paper. The image was colored with watercolors and covered with a layer of Distress Glaze. I cut the image and paste it on the patterned paper from Stamperia Classic Christmas Paper. Then the paper was pasted on the 6"X6"  heavy white card stock card base.

The Christmas embellishments were cut from the same paper collection. I stamped the holiday sentiments using Stamperia Christmas Patchwork Clear Stamp and the black ink pad on the patterned paper, then cut out to pasted them on the card using double side tapes. To finish off this card, I randomly adhered some Christmas flowers around the girl.
